At the time of writing, there were 2 days left till Christmas Day.
So, to tick two activities off my To-Do list before Christmas, I need to:
Firstly, offer a Merry Christmas to all who read this post and
Secondly, reflect on the past year of Business On A Page Gateway and give a vision for next year.
Reflections
Past clients, who engaged Business On A Page Gateway to help them achieve their visions through friendly admin and technology support, might have noticed that there was little activity in 2024 and 2025.
This was because, the owner, Steven, re-entered the workforce full-time in technology-based positions with a local managed service provider and then a large high school.
In those roles Steven got to share gifts and talents with his employers and their staff, customers, teachers, students, parents and suppliers.
Each assignment also provided opportunities to improve, amongst many improvements, communication and managing, tracking and solving technology issues with service desk systems.
Since finishing his last role in September, Steven took time to evaluate different options available and has decided to be adventurous being self-employed full-time as Business On A Page Gateway providing the friendly admin and technology services previously promised to residential, commercial and government clients and customers.
Note: Business On A Page Gateway describes clients as those who directly use their services, and customers as those we help indirectly through our clients.
In this light, let us look how Business On A Page Gateway carried out its business in 2025 and then offer a vision of its plans for 2026.
Our services in 2025
In 2025, Business On A Page Gateway earned its income from family, friends and small to medium-sized businesses providing products and services in-person and online.
Services carried out included,
For small office and home office (SOHO) owners, assisting with
- creating and installing a security certificate on a server
- administration and record keeping and
- recovering a website domain hosting service
For individuals, we
- coached how to present a work talk and use PowerPoint
- coached how to improve processes for invoicing with Word and
- Troubleshot and fixed computing hardware
On the other hand, serving a national provider, we supported
. their local residential customers by
- troubleshooting and re-configuring email client software and Internet browsers
- configuring installed NBN modems and connecting their devices
- cleaned Windows device and re-configured security
. their national client local office, by
- Replacing and configuring a product scanner
Products and commissions
In terms of products and commissions, Business On A Page Gateway provided
- online domain and website hosting at web.bizonapage.com.au and
- listing affiliated shops and products at shoptrolley.au.
Commissions came from renewals of domain and website hosting and from our affiliate service provider’s affiliate program.
A new vision and next steps
Looking back, Business On A Page Gateway, showed it has provided tangible person-to-person and online products and services to its clientele.
As a foundation, these offerings will continue to be provided next year to current and prospective clients.
To build on this foundation, Business On A Page gateway will start the New Year planning to grow and act accordingly.
Tentatively, our vision will be to
- Grow as a friendly viable support service for residential, commercial and government clients.
The plan will be to
- clarify our service and product offerings and refine related marketing materials
- reach out to past clients who would like to use our services again and evaluate ways to move forward together, and
- to grow through novel ways to meet and serve prospective clients person-to-person and online
Conclusion
Reflecting on the past year and preparing for 2026, Business On A Page Gateway will provide friendly administrative and technology services to help clients achieve their personal and business visions.
